HOW TO PLAY

The Mission

You are a world leader navigating real (and imagined) crises across history. Every decision you make shifts the Global Peace Index — a live tally of war, diplomacy, and chaos across the world map. Reach 2100 with peace above 50 % to win. Let it collapse, and history ends.

Core Mechanic

• Each turn you receive a briefing and four choices — pick the one you think advances peace, or write your own.
• After choosing, the AI narrates the consequences and the world reacts. Ally nations green up; adversaries may flare red.
• You earn Peace Points for each decision. Peaceful outcomes score higher. Aggressive or reckless choices erode the index.
• When all active conflicts in an era resolve, you advance to the next era or reach 2100.

Characters & Perspective

You inhabit world leaders — presidents, generals, emperors — and see every crisis through their eyes. When you switch eras or exhaust an arc, you can step into a different character. Each leader has unique advisors, constraints, and political capital.

Winning & Losing

• Survive to 2100 with the peace index above 50 % → victory.
• Peace index collapses to 0 → chronicle ends in failure.
• Your score, archetype, and legacy are recorded in the Hall of Peace.
